“For me, art is a celebration of vibrant and bold colours, each with a unique voice and story to tell.”
About Viktoria Goudbeek:

Where Science Meets Intuition
For years, my world was defined by formulas, structures, and the laws of physics. As an engineer, I sought logic; as an artist, I discovered that the most profound answers often lie outside the lines.
My journey from the precision of science to the expressive freedom of the palette knife is what defines my work today. I don’t see a canvas as just a surface, but as a playground for light and energy. While my technical background provides the discipline to master the medium, my heart provides the courage to let go of control.
Spontaneous Realism & The Palette Knife
I primarily work ‘wet-on-wet’ with a palette knife—a high-stakes race against time where every stroke must be intentional yet free. This process is like alchemy: layering oil paints until a portrait or landscape suddenly “clicks” into life.
To me, art is a celebration. I invite you to look beyond the subject and feel the vibration of the colors. Welcome to my world, where logic fades and pure creativity takes the lead.
